Questions people ask

Which audio formats can I get?

MP3 at 128, 192 or 320 kbps, M4A (AAC, copied without loss when the video already uses AAC) and WAV, which is uncompressed and the largest.

Does the audio lose quality?

M4A from an AAC source is a copy, so nothing is lost. MP3 and WAV are decoded and re-encoded once on your device at the quality you pick.

Can I take only a part of the audio?

Yes. Open the trim control, drag the start and end handles, and only that section is exported.

Do you upload my video?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file stays on your device.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome, Edge and Safari 17 or newer on desktop and Android. Firefox does not support the media APIs the tool needs yet.
