Not unless you want it to. By default the audio is time-stretched so voices keep their pitch. Turn off "keep pitch" to let the pitch rise or fall with the speed.
From 0.25x (four times slower) to 4x (four times faster). Slowing down does not invent new frames, so very slow speeds look like a smooth hold on each frame.
