Questions people ask

Why does the preview play forward?

Browsers cannot play video backwards smoothly, so the main preview shows the original. Use "preview reversed" to render a quick low-resolution version and check the result before the full export.

What happens to the sound?

By default the audio is reversed along with the picture. Switch it off to export a silent clip.

Do you upload my video?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file stays on your device.

Is there a length limit?

Files up to 2 GB. Reversing has to decode the whole clip, so a long video takes about as long as playing it once.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome, Edge and Safari 17 or newer on desktop and Android. Firefox does not support the video APIs the tool needs yet.
