How long can a Short be?

YouTube treats vertical videos up to a few minutes as Shorts, and the classic limit is 60 seconds. Trim in the tool so you stay where you want.

What size should it be?

Vertical 9:16, 1080 by 1920 pixels, MP4 with H.264. That is what this tool exports from a 1080p or larger source.

Can I make a Short from a landscape video?
